HEDRICK — Charles E. “Chuck” Sutton, 74, of Lincoln, Neb. died Mar. 11, 2007.

He was born Apr. 18. 1932 in Keokuk to Merl and Dorothy (Shafer) Sutton.

He graduated from Hedrick High School in Iowa and was a graduate of business school in Iowa. He worked for Burlington Railroad in the business office and served in the U.S. Army from 1952-54. He married Nancy Wilson on Sept. 12, 1957. He graduated from the University of Nebraska in Lincoln and spent 32 years as an accountant at Lincoln General Hospital. Since retirement he was very active in volunteer work for Habitat For Humanity and Bridge Prison Ministry.

Memberships included Sheridan Lutheran Church, Lincoln Handweavers Club, Lincoln Garden Club, Habitat for Humanity Construction Committee.

Survivors include his wife, Nancy of Lincoln; children and spouses, Jeff and April Sutton of Lincoln, Gregg and Tamara Sutton of Lincoln, and Gail and Mike Ferlazzo of Ames; grandchildren, Raini and Ryan Sutton, Cameron and Morgan Gereau, Nathan and Quinlan Sutton; sister and brother-in-law, Mary Kay and Robert Diers of Wayland; and brother and sister-in-law, Melvin and Betty Sutton of Orlando, Fla.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral service will be 11 a.m., Thursday, Mar. 15, 2007
