OTTUMWA - PAT ELKINS 73, formerly of 814 Dewey Street, Ottumwa, died at 1:40 pm July 16, 2001 in Ottumwa Manor.

She was born Dec 10, 1927 in Skamania, Washington to EMERY FRANKLIN and MINNIE E. RAMA TROXELL. She married ROBERT A. ELKINS Oct 28, 1945. He died Nov 23, 1989.

Surviving are 4 brothers, ROBERT L. of Nesbit Miss, LES "BUD" of Hedrick, Iowa, JAMES of Ottumwa,Iowa and CHRIS "KIT" of Oskaloosa,Iowa: a daughter JEANNE DOUGLAS of Ottumwa,Iowa; 12 grandchildren; several great grandchildren,Brothers HAROLD "PETE" TTROXELL and DAN TROXELL of Ottumwa,Iowa; 4 sisters; LOTTIE GGREEN CLARK and BERYL BROWN of Des Moines,Iowa and MARY SONGER and MARTHA TOWNSEND of Ottumwa,Iowa.

The body was cremated. Memorial mass will be 1 pm Saturday July 21, in Reece Funeral Home of Ottumwa. The Reverand John H. Daniels officiating. Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association. Inturment will be at a later time.
