Oct 12, 2001Former OTTUMWAN, JOHN LESLIE COLLETT 48, died Oct 09, 2001, in Jones County Medical Center at Anamosa, Iowa.
He was born Aug 11, 1955 in Osage,Iowa to FRANK and MABEL IRENE HACKETT JR. COLLETT.
Surviving are his father and stepmother, FRANK and BETTY COLLETT JR. of Lyndon Station, Wisconsin. His mother of Ottumwa,Iowa; 3 brothers FRANK of Lyndon Station, Wisc, RON of Meredosia Ill, and JERRY COLLETT of Des Moines,Iowa. He has 6 sisters; LIZ CARMINES of Virginia, CAROL NORTON and RUTH BARR of Dothan, Ala, LUCILLE BETHUNE of Dunkerton and LISA and NANCY COLLETT of Ottumwa, Iowa.
The service will be 10 am, Saturday, Oct 13, in Alexander-Johnson Funeral Home of Ottumwa, the Rev. Rick Rustad officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Lawn Cemetery at Ottumwa, Iowa.
Visitation will begin after 11 am Friday, with family present from 6-7:30 pm.
