Dorothy Irene Williams and Glen Dorothy Family

WILLIAMS, DOROTHY, SEE, FRAZIER

Here is the data I have on the family. I just found out this week that James
Frederick (Called Fred) Williams and Luella See family's daughter Dorothy,
married a Glen Dorothy. I don't have any information about a marriage date
at present, but am working on it. I also found out they had 2 sons, Richard
and Ronald. I do have copies of Dorothy's birth records, so have her name as
Dorothy Irene Williams; birthdate, as January 30, 1914. From census data, I
have Dorothy the sister of Amber Williams and Buleah B. Williams. I don't
have data on either of the sisters except that I have an obituary of Clare
Wiley, which states he was married to Amber Williams. It also states he has
a stepson, Harold Martin, so am assuming that Amber was first married to ?
Martin, and had son Harold before the marriage to Clare Wiley. Now going
backwards to Luella See, wife of Fred Williams, I have alot of data
collected. Luella is the sister of our grandfather John See, and is the
daughter of George Washington See and Margaret A. (called Maggie) Frazier.
George and Maggie, and Luella and Fred spent a long time in Van Buren County
Iowa, and they are all buried in Maple Hill Cemetery, Birmingham, Iowa.
Luella's brother Jasper See is buried in Fairfield, Jefferson county Iowa,
and another brother James L. See, is buried in Maple Hill Cemetery, with the
rest of the family. One of Luella's brother's John See, is the only one left
who is not in that area. He immigrated to Canada with the Colters, from
Birmingham Iowa, in 1912, homesteaded in Alberta, and the rest of his family
are all located in Alberta Canada. I have been in contact with some of James
See's decendants, who still reside in Iowa, and they have given me the
information on Glen Dorothy and their sons names, but that is as far as they
have information on this family. For anyone on this list who is connected
with the SEE family, I have setup several sites, which contain documentation
in the photo section. Here is a list of sites, you may want to check on.

Total surname SEE Research Site and alternate spellings. This is a site with
a collection of data of all See and alternate spellings data that I have
been collecting while researching. Much of it does not pertain to our lines,
but may be helpful to other lines in their search.

SEE and alternate Spellings WebBase site. This site allows all SEE and
related spellings, researchers to enter their data into a large common
database.

And I have bought a large volume of space on MyFamily for researching the
SEE surname, but it requires and invitation, with a username and password to
upload and download the data from. I am happy to send out an invitation to
anyone who is seriously searching the SEE surname. This site contains data
from researchers from many SEE lines and alternate spellings as well. It is
protected so that mischief makers can't go in and delete all our hard work.
Also because it is private, we can enter data on the living to exchange with
family members. This really helps as each family enters their own data into
the right tree.

Hope this helps someone on the list, who happens to be connected to the SEE
family, and would sure appreciate an exchange of data from Iowa.
