Charles William Sevier

I am seeking more information on my Charles William Sevier born 10 May 1810 in Tenn. He died Feb or March 1848 in Van Buren County, Iowa. He was married to Pathena Quinn Pittman (Pitman). I am trying to get any information on them. Have been unable to find a marriage record. Have not been able to find where he is buried. On 1840 Census they were living near Lebanon, Van Buren, Iowa.

They had 8 children. Middle son Benjamin Franklin Sevier was my great grandfather,
Also doing research on Dunlap family. I would like to find out more on Pittman family also.
