In response to your 7 year old query on the Van Buren County website, I do have quite a bit of info regarding Pathenia Pitman's family. She was the youngest of 14 children. One of her brothers was my great great grandfather.

I have an interesting story written by one of her other brothers describing the family's 1835 trip by ox cart from Laurel County,Kentucky to Lee County, Iowa. I also have an 1840 letter from one of her sisters in Lee County to their grandmother in Kentucky. The letter refers to a visit to VanBuren County to visit Charles and Pathenia.
