ISAAC KIMMEL was born on December 15, 1822 in Jewett, Harrison County., Ohio, and died in about February 22, 1862. He married AMY SAWVEL , daughter of JOHN JACOB SAWVEL and MARGARET EPLEY, on March 24, 1845. She was born on October 15, 1818, probably in Adams County, Pennsylvania, and died on September 23, 1892, near Rossville, Allen Twp., Darke County, Ohio. He was drafted as a Confederate soldier in Tennessee, was killed in the war, and is buried in an unknown grave. She is buried in Webster Cemetery, Allen Twp., Darke County, Ohio.
