help! jewett, mercer, antill, and the kent's were all related somehow or very close friends. liet.col. daniel kent was my gggrandfather and his son marion kent married harriet antill in 1866. elijah mercer was the witness and he also lived next door to harriet antill and john jewett. also harriet's little sister,salina antill was living with the mercers when she was 14 yrs old. why was this unless she was related. can anyone shed some light on these families?
