Both Asa and his wife Elizabeth are buried in the Landess-Watkins cemetery in Vernon twp., Van Buren county. You will find a photo of his gravestone at the link at the very bottom of this message.

Elizabeth's stone transcription reads:

18 Apr 1804 - 12 Aug 1878
ae 74y 3m 24d
wife of Asa Phillips
