I am searching for my Sutton line, they I think
may have been in the VanBuren area during the
civil war. My GGUncle John P. Post served . He was
mustered in and joined for duty Aug 13, 1862 at Indianola, IowaOld Co D. 34 reg's Iowa infantry.
He was a brother to my GGGrandfather Thomas Branson Sutton and I am unable to prove who their
parents were Can anyone help me?Was Branson Sutton and Nancy in 1850 VanBuren Co., Ia Census
their parents? John was born in 1844. My Grandfather in 1853 We Think
