I just found my Cresswell ancestors in Van Buren County after 4 years of unsucessful searching. Can someone please help me? The only information I found was an obit on Matthew Cresswell(b.1821-1902), it states that Eminger Cresswell was living in Nashville Mo. at the time of his father's death.
Since Nashville Mo.is a very small town, and my great grandmother's family was living in that same area, and her father was E. Cresswell, I am assuming that I have indeed found my relatives.
Now I just need more verification. Any information on this family would be very helpful.
