In searching the old plat book from 1918, I found that my great grandfather C.N. Groves (pictured in the back row- middle)owned land just west of the Milton Agricultural Center (old fairgrounds, now).
I am wondering if this structure was on the land for the Agricultural center? I understand that they still held fairs on the land in 1920, but this picture was taken around Easter, I believe, so it may have been too early in the year for a fair. Any ideas at all? Thank you for any clues.
