Hi Cindy

According to my late mother, Story Chapel was located in Vernon township, Van Buren Co., just a little ways south of Thompson Cemetery and very near to the border of Farmington twp. and Vernon twp. It has been long gone and in fact I've never even seen a photo of it and would love to if any one out there has a photo.

You will notice a short piece of a road just south of Thompson that leads east. That is where it is my understanding the church once stood. In fact, my mother told me that this road at one time went all the way east to their "Johnson home place" which is where you see the road start again on east.

Again, if anyone else has knowledge of Story Chapel and especially photos, I too would love to hear from you.
