According to the Land Transfer records, John A. Shuster and Joe Choulet bought lot 3 of section 11 (Greef Store lot) on May 3, 1920. Joe sold his partnership to John A. Shuster on Sept. 13, 1920. On April 11, 1933, John A. Shuster bought lots 4 and 5 of section 11 (bank building and Herman Greef House). On Feb. 29, 1944, the John A. Shuster Estate sold lots 4 and 5. And on Aug. 11, 1944, lot 3 was sold.
There is an Isaac Shuster buried in the Vernon Cemetery, 1836 - 1915, Company A, 7th Mo. Cav. GAR. There is also a Sadie E. Shuster Heminger, 1900-1970. And a Sarah M. Shuster Marriott, 1849 - 1916. There is no Shuster in the Bentonsport Cemetery.
