I am not researching this family, but I can tell you that the Iowa Van Buren County - Sunnyside Cemetery Inscriptions booklet published by the VB County Genealogical Society in 2003 does list the following on Page 60:

Edgar E. Strout (1870 - 1940)
Hattie U. Strout (1871 - 1959) - Maiden BRIGGS

Two stones down from the above is another stone:

Flaudia B. Strout (1899 - 1995) - Maiden BELL
Harold I. Strout (1894 - 1969)

There is a "footmarker" for Harold that reads:

"Harold I. Strout 19 Oct 1894 - 10 July 1969 Colorado Wagr. Sup. Co 158 Infantry WWI"

There are no other Strout names listed in this cemetery.
