Massey Genealogy

MASSEY, MASSIE, MASEY

I'm looking for any information on some of my Massey ancestors. James D. Massey and his wife, Elizabeth, were in Van Buren County for a time, although I don't know how long. They were here in the late 1840's or early 1850's for certain as they are listed on the 1850 Census. They had at least one daughter, Mary, with them. There was also a child named Mary Collins showing on the census. It could be their daughter Mary's daughter, but at this time, I don't know. I believe Anson Massey (James D Massey's son) and his wife, Elizabeth, were there during that same time. They had a daughter, Catherine, who was born around 1849 in Iowa. Any information would be very much appreciated.
Regards,
Trina
