MRS. HARVEY BREWSTER
KEOSAUQUA--Mrs. Adaline Brewster, 89, died about 11:45 a.m. Tuesday at Van Buren County Memorial Hospital, where she had been a patient a short time.
Born Jan. 9, 1880, near Tennessee, Ill., she was the daughter of H. A. and Alice Roberts Chipman. She was married Feb. 22, 1900, to Harvey Brewster. He died May 18, 1942. They farmed near Keosauqua and later moved into Keosauqua. She was a member of the United Methodist Church, a 50-year member of Lynds Chapter of Order of Eastern Star, a charter member of the American Legion Auxiliary and active in the Royal Neighbors of America.
Survivors include several nephews.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Keosauqua United Methodist Church with the Rev. Hubert Phillips of Milton officiating. Burial will be in Center Chapel Cemetery, near Keosauqua. The body is at Catcott Funeral Home.
