Farmington - Funeral services for William Lamborn, 78, have been announced for Sunday afternoon at the Baptist church providing the son, Pvt. Arlet Lamborn, stationed in Alaska, can reach here by Sunday. The service will be in charge of Rev. Warren Green.

Lamborn’s death occurred at the home late Tuesday night, after having influenza several weeks ago. Lamborn came here about 30 yars ago, and retired from the farm about 4 years ago. A brother, Samuel Lamborn, died March 14 at Bellevue, Ia.

He is survived by the widow and 4 sons, Arlet and Wilburn, in the army; Kenneth, in the navy, and Samuel Lamborn, Farmington, and several distant relatives.
