FUNERAL OF JOS. WOODHEAD.
Services Held at His Late Home,
276 South Main Street.The funeral of Joseph Woodhead, a respected resident and a prominent member of Masonic societies, who died Wednesday evening, was held this afternoon at 2 o'clock at his home, 276 South Main street. Services were conducted by the Rev. William Ashton Thompson, rector of St. James Episcopal church.
The funeral was largely attended by relatives and friends and the attendance at the funeral together with the wealth of floral tributes gave marked attest of the esteem in which the departed was held. Mr. Woodhead was a prominent woolen manufacturer. The bearers were William Emmott, Representative John North, Charles W. Flagg and Charles Dyer. Burial was in Union cemetery.
Among the relatives present from out of town were Mr. and Mrs. John Drabble and family of Dayville, Miss Mabel Drabble of Day Kimball hospital, Putnam; an aunt, Mrs. David Brook and Mrs. Burnett of Dayville, Mrs. Joshua Woodhead and daughter, Mrs. Eddy of Pascoag.

OBITUARY.HIGH IN MASONRY.
JOSEPH WOODHEAD, MANY YEARS A MANUFACTURER.
Joseph Woodhead, for the past four years a resident of this city and many years ago a resident also, died last evening at 5:30 o'clock at his home, 276 South Main street, after an illness of long duration. Mr. Woodhead was taken ill with typhoid fever four years ago in Oregon, and came back to this city at that time. Bright's disease was the cause of death.
Mr. Woodhead was aged 62 years, and was born in England. He followed the woolen manufacturing business, and a number of years ago was employed in the Harris woolen mill. He had also been employed at Blackstone, Mass., and other nearby places. When he married Miss Matilda Hudson a number of years ago, she being a native of this city, he moved to the west, and had lived in Wisconsin and other places for several years, at Bonaparte, Iowa, for 12 years and in Oregon one year. Deceased leaves one sister, Mrs. John Drabble of Dayville, Conn., and one brother D?____ Woodhead, of Winnipeg, Manitoba.
The deceased was very high in Masonry, being a member of all the Masonic bodies, including the Knights Templar and Kaba temple, Order of the Mystic Shrine, all the lodges being located in the west.
The funeral will be held Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock at his late home, 27 12 South Main street.
