Albert Tompkins died at his home 4 miles west of Farmington on Sunday Aug. 5, 1900. He was born in Farmington township on the 9th day of August 1856. One brother and four sisters are left to mourn for him. The funeral took place on Monday August 6th 1900. Rev. Barber conducted the services, his body was laid to rest in the Thompson cemetery.
