SARAH LINDSAY TAKEN IN DEATH

Funeral services fro Mrs. Sara Bell Lindsay, 89, a Wichitan for the past ten years who died Tuesday at her home, 603 Baehr, will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday from the Refuge Church, 600 Baehr. The Rev. Tom Shaw will officiate. Burial will be in the Galesburg Cemetery west of Wichita.

Mrs. Lindsay was born in Shelby County, Ohio. She was a member of the Evangelical Church.

She is survived by a son, Alva Lindsay, Durango, Colo.; four daughters, Mrs. Dessie Stevens, Witchita, May Householder, Kearney, Neb., Mrs. Bertha Brandenburg, Lorington, Neb., and Mrs. Maggie Vannoy, Axtel, Neb.; three brothers, four sisters; 24 grand children, and 22 great grandchildren.

The Lahey Mortuary is in charge of funeral arrangements.

Notes: Name was Sarah Belle nee SIMMONS. Burial place was actually Jamesburg Park Cem., Wichita, Sedgewick Co., KS - My great-grandmother through her daughter Addie Mae who married first Leslie Johnson and later Frank Householder.
