STELLA ARCHIBALD

Former Birmingham area resident Stella Archibald, 94, of Chugwater, Wyo., died Jan. 7 in Torrington, Wyo.

She was born Aug. 24, 1884 at Stockport to Girard and Emma Huber Workman. She married Ray Archibald October 28, 1903, at Winchester. He is dead. She moved to Los Angeles in 1940 and was a licensed practical nurse until moving to Chugwater in 1954.

Survivors: a daughter, Eva Storm of Chugwater, Wyo., and five grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and 15 great-great-grandchildren.

The body is being returned to Burch Funeral Home in Birmingham where there will be visitation from 7 to 8 p.m. Friday.

Graveside services at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at Maple Hill Cemetery, the Rev. David Kennedy officiating.
