WILLIAM H. MILLER
William H. Miller, 75, died Dec. 27 at 8 p.m. at Veterans Administration Hospital in Knoxville, following a lengthy illness.
Born in Farmington Nov. 5, 1894, he was the son of Albert and Mary Hoyt Miller. He married Ethel Shaw at Kansas City, Kan. on Jan. 6, 1944. She survives. He was a life-long resident of Farmington except for the time he served with the Armed Forces during World War I. He was an electrician.
Mr. Miller was a member of German Lutheran Church in New Mexico and the American Legion Post at Farmington.
In addition to his widow, he is survived by one daughter, Maxine Miller of Keosauqua; a stepson, Harold Ellis Shaw of Farmington; one brother Aaron of Wichita, Kan.; one sister, Laura Keller of Farmington; and three grandchildren.
The funeral was Tuesday, Dec. 30 at 1:30 p.m. at Keosauqua Christian Church with Rev. Howard McPeak of Keosauqua officiating. Interment was in National Cemetery at Keokuk.
