C. FRED MILLER
C. Fred Miller, 68, of 3018 E. 18th St. Davenport, was pronounced dead on arrival on Monday, Nov. 2, at St. Luke's Hospital.
The body was donated to the University of Iowa Department of Anatomy for scientific study. The Runge Mortuary was in charge of the local arrangements.
Memorial services were held at 10 a.m. Friday, Nov. 6, in the First Presbyterian Church.
Mr. Miller was associated with Edward Hines Lumber Co., Chicago, 40 years, retiring three years ago.
He was born in Davis County, Iowa. He married Josephine Michael in 1926 in Ottumwa.
He is survived by his wife; daughters, Mrs. W. Sibley (Jane) Towner, Oxford, England and Mrs. Merle C. (Carol) Johnson, Estherville, Iowa; four grandchildren and a brother, John Sherm of Selma.
Attending the services from Selma wre Mr. and Mrs. Sherm Miller and Mr. and Mrs. Joe Michael and Lloyd Miller of Bloomfield.
