LEONA S. LAGLE

Mrs. Leona S. Lagle, daughter of Frank and Olive Brown, was born June 23, 1885 and departed this life Saturday, March 18, 1972 at her home, south of Selma, at the age of 86. Her entire life was lived in the same neighborhood.

In 1903, she was married to Harry Lagle, who preceded her in death in 1963. A son, Kenneth, three brothers and four great-grandchildren also preceded her in death.

Remaining to cherish her memory are four sons, Paul of Mesa, Ariz., Glen of Selma, Vern of Eldon, Keith of Floris; two daughters, Mrs. Olive Holcomb of Douds, Mrs. Edna Perry of Fairfield; 10 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Estel Lagle of Ponca City, Okla.; a brother, Harold Brown of Selma; other relatives and many friends.

Mrs. Lagle attended the Bethel Free Methodist Church.

Funeral services were held Monday, March 20, at 2 p.m. at the Christ United Methodist Church in Douds with the Rev. Everett Day of the Bethel Church and the Rev. Gerald Caughron of Christ Church officating. Interment was in Leano [sic] Cemetery.
