EDNA C. MCINTOSH

Mrs. Edna C. McIntosh, daughter of Jacob and Ida Davis Gulick, was born December 15, 1891, at Stuttgart, Arkansas, and departed this life Thursday, May 16, 1974, at Van Buren Co. Memorial Hospital in Keosauqua at the age of 82. In 1905, she moved with her parents to Van Buren County.

On February 16, 1916, she was married to Harry L. McIntosh, who preceded her in death in 1970. An infant son, a brother and a sister also preceded her in death.

Remaining to cherish her memory are her daughter, Mrs. Lealin Boecker and son-in-law Marvin Boecker, three grandchildren, Emily, Sara and Allen Boecker, a brother, Van-Cleaf Gulick of Laramie, Wyo., nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Mrs. McIntosh was an active member of the Center Chapel United Methodist Church and a charter member of its United Methodist Women's group, was active in the work of the Farm Bureau Women, her husband having been a charter member of the Van Buren County Farm Bureau, was Chaplain of Beer-Barker Unit, American Legion Auxiliary and a member of the Golder Agers.

She will be remembered as a devoted mother and grandmother and as one who did her part in the betterment of her community and mankind through the work of her church and various organizations.

Funeral services were held on Saturday, May 18, 1974 at 2 P. M. at Center Chapel United Methodist Church south of Keosauqua, with the Rev. John Cornish, pastor, officiating. Interment was in Center Chapel Cemetery. Arrangements wree in charge of Pedrick Funeral Home, Keosauqua, Iowa.

MRS. HARRY MCINTOSH

Mrs. Harry McIntosh, 82, Keosauqua, died at 2:18 p.m. Thursday at the Van Buren County Memorial Hospital in Keosauqua where she had been a patient since March 30.

Funeral services were held Saturday at 2:00 p.m. at the Center Chapel United Methodist Church of which she was a member. The services were conducted by the Rev. John Cornish and burial was in Center Chapel Cemetery.

The Pedrick Funeral Home in Keosauqua was in charge of arrangements.

Edna McIntosh was born December 15, 1891, at Stuttgart, Arkansas, the daughter of Jacob and Ida Davis Gulick. In 1905 she moved with her family to Van Buren County.

She was married February 16, 1916, to Harry L. McIntosh. He died in 1970.

Mrs. McIntosh was a charter member of the United Methodist Women, chaplain of Beer-Barker Legion auxiliary, she was a member of the Golden Agers and active in the Farm Bureau Women's organization.

Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Lealin Boecker, Keosauqua; three grandchildren; and a brother, VanCleaf Gulick, Laramie, Wyoming.

In addition to her husband, Mrs. McIntosh was preceded in death by an infant son, one brother and a sister.
