Pearl G. Chadwick

Pearl G. Chadwick, daughter of Frank and Nellie McCoy, was born November 2, 1897 at Moulton and died the evening of Thursday, Feb. 7, 1991 at Jefferson County Hospital, Fairfield at the age of 93.

She married Andrew W. Chadwick March 5, 1913. He died in 1964.

She lived in Ottumwa, Hedrick, Burlington and California and near Douds since 1989.

She was a member of the Assembly of God church.

Surviving are three daughters, Mildred Higdon of Douds, with whom she lived, and Winnie Mullen and Helen Bennett, both of Ottumwa. Also surviving are 17 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, seven great-great grandchildren, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, two sons, John and Frank Chadwick, a brother and two sisters.

Graveside services were held at 2 p.m. Saturday, February 9, 1991 in Brooks Cemetery west of Hedrick, Rev. Stephen Higdon officiating. Arrangements were in charge of Pedrick Funeral Home, Douds. A memorial was established.
