Ralph L. Hill

Ralph L. Hill, 85, Logan Apartments, died at 5:30 December 1, 1990 at Jefferson County Hospital, Fairfield, Iowa.

He was born March 29, 1905 to Harry and Maude McCall Hill in Winchester, Iowa. He married Carrie Leyden Dec. 8, 1931.

Hill was reared and educated in Winchester and Birmingham, Iowa. He had lived in Michigan and Alabama, returning to Fairfield, Iowa in 1974. He was a member of the Faith Baptist Church in Fairfield.

Surviving are one sister, Hazel Boley of Birmingham, Iowa; one daughter Marvel Fassett of Bad Axe, Mich., three sons, Gary of Prescott, Arizona; Gordon of Davidson, Mich. and Dennis of Haslett, Michigan, also several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a son, Charles.

The funeral service was held Monday, Dec. 3 at 2 p.m. at the Burch Raymond Funeral Home in Birmingham, the Rev. Richard Kirby officiating. Burial was in Maple Hill Cemetery in Birmingham, Iowa.
