Hazel Davidson

Hazel M. Davidson, 77, of Birmingham died at 8:50 a.m. June 16, 1990, at Jefferson County Hospital in Fairfield.

She was born Feb. 21, 1913, west of Birmingham to Fred and Ada Mathias Countryman. She married Emmett N. Davidson on Dec. 28, 1937; he died Sept. 2, 1966.

A resident of Birmingham all of her life, she was a 1931 graduate of her life, she was a 1931 graduate of Birmingham High School and attended the Free Methodist Church.

She is survived by a son, Stanley of Birmingham; and a daughter, Diane Hall of Birmingham; six grandchildren; and a great-grandson.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Donnel and Merrill.

The service was held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 19, 1990 at the Free Methodist Church in Birmingham, the Rev. Bill Clarkson officiating. Burial was in Maple Hill Cemetery.

Burch-Raymond Funeral Home in Birmingham was in charge of arrangements.

A memorial has been established to Birmingham Free Methodist Church.
