Eathen Martin

Eathen Martin, 51, Farmington, died at 6:45 p.m. Thursday, August 16, 1990 at Methodist Hospital, Rochester, Minnesota. He had been in failing health four years.

Mr. Martin was born October 10, 1938 in Jefferson County. He spent most of his life in Farmington, and was employed at the Fort Madison Fruehauf plant. He was a member of the Farmington United Methodist Church, the Farmington Actioneers(sp), had served in the Army and was a member of the American Legion.

On September 17, 1960 at Farmington, he married Linda Lamborn, who survives.

Also surviving are his parents, Elton and Foy Heckenberg Martin, Farmington; two sons, Blaine and Ken, both of Farmington; and a daughter, Beth Martin, Farmington.

Services were held August 19, 1990 at the Hofbauer Funeral Home in Farmington with Reverend Fred Malone officiating. Burial was in Greenglade Cemetery.

Memorials have been established with the Farmington United Methodist Church and the Leukemia Society of America.
