Services for Dorothy Workman, 73, Bonaparte, were held Wednesday, October, 17, 1990 at the Bonaparte United Church with the Reverend Fred Malone officiating. Burial was in the Bonaparte Cemetery.
Mrs. Workman died at 7:15 p.m. Sunday, October 14, 1990 at Boone Hospital Center, Columbia, Missouri.
A long-time Bonaparte resident, she was born December 11, 1916 at Bonaparte. She was a pianist. She was a member of the First Baptist Church at Fulton, Missouri.
On June 25, 1938 at Bonaparte, she was married to Clarence R. Workman, who died April 16, 1971.
Surviving are a son, Clarence E. of Bonaparte; two daughters, Mrs. John (Carolyn) Rex, Fulton, Missouri and Mrs. Hollis (Velda) Beggs, Algona; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter and two brothers. Her parents were James and Ethel Kelsey Hogan.
A memorial is being established. Contributions may be made at the Hofbauer Funeral Home.
