Helen M. Waldren, 95, a resident of the Fort Madison Nursing Care Center, formerly of Argyle, died at 4:30 p.m. Monday, Jan. 1, at the care center.
Mrs. Waldren was born July 8, 1894, at Argyle. She was a member of the Argyle Presbyterian Church and the church circle.
On June 23, 1914, at Kansas City, Mo., she married to Charles H. Waldren, who died April 21, 1984
Surviving are two sons, Alfred of Fort Madison and Leroy of Keosauqua; four grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by a brother and two sisters. Her parents were Ernest and Mary Meister Brown.
Services were be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Argyle Presbyterian Church. The Rev. Vernon Cravens will officiate. Burial will be in Argyle Memorial Gardens.
The body is at the King-Lynk Funeral home where friends may call after 3 p.m. today and where the family will beet friends from 7 to 8 p.m. today.
A memorial is being established with the Argyle Presbyterian Church. Contributions may be made at the King-Lynk Funeral Home.
