E. RIES TUTTLE

E. Ries Tuttle, 81, of Rogers, Ark., died March 14, 1988, in Rogers.

He was born Feb. 26, 1907 in Milton to James B. and Virtue O. Benefiel Tuttle. He was the outdoor editor of the Des Moines Register and was past president of Izaak Walton League. He was the past president of Outdoor Writer's of America, was inducted into Izaak Walton Legue Hall of Fame and had been a member of Ducks Unlimited. He had also been judge of Sturttgart, Duck Caller's Contest in Sturttgart, Ark.

He is survived by his wife, Vera; three sons, Donald R. of Effingham, Ill., James C. of Troy, Mich., and Robert S. of Houston, Texas; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Loraine Russell of Miami, Okla., and Louisa Erickson of White Bear Lake, Minn.

The service was held at Callison-Lough Funeral Chapel in Rogers, Ark.

Memorials have been established to Izaak Walton League of America, 1701 N. Fort Meyer Drive, Suite 1100, Arlington, Va. 22209.
