Earl E. Griffin

Earl E. Griffin, 67, of Hillsboro died Tuesday, May 3, 1988 at 12 noon at his home.

He was born August 30, 1920 at Spencer, Nebraska, the son of Archie and Ethel Rhodes Griffin. On June 18, 1960, he married Nancy Barnett of Staten Island, New York.

he was a painting contractor.

Surviving are his wife; a daughter, Penny Griffin, Hillsboro; four brothers, Raymond, William and George, all of Fairfield, and Gail, Morrilton, Arkansas; and two sisters, Mrs. Betty Billingsley and Shirley Griffin, both of Fairfield.

Funeral services were held Thursday, May 5, 1988 at 11 a.m. at the Hillsboro Christian Church with the Reverend Ed Newman officiating. Interment was in the Hillsboro Cemetery.

A memorial has been established in his memory.

Beatty-Wilkins Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
