Florence B. Miller

Florence B. Miller, daughter of Richard and Caroline Stonehouse, was born January 20, 1902 in Van Buren County south of Hillsboro and died Monday, May 16, 1988 at Van Buren County Memorial Hospital in Keosauqua at the age of 86.

She married Glen B. Miller February 24, 1940 in Fort Madison. They farmed north of Bonaparte and retired to Keosauqua.

Mrs. Miller was a member of the Keosauqua Christian Church and had previously been active in the Big Mound Methodist Church.

Mr. Miller passed away Oct. 12, 1987. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Albert and Clifton Stonehouse and four sisters, Anna, Ada, Cassie Stonehouse and Beulah Lamm. Surviving are nieces and nephews, other relatives.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, May 18, 1988 at 1 p.m. in the Keosauqua Christian Church with Rev. Bob Patterson officiating. Interment was in Hillsboro Cemetery. Memorials were established for her church and the Hillsboro Cemetery. Arrangements were in charge of Pedrick Funeral Home, Keosauqua.
