BURLINGTON - Flossie Iowa Clark, 74, died at 7:45 p.m. Friday, May 20, 1988, at Burlington Medical Center. She had lived most of her life in Bonaparte until making her home with her daughter in Burlington.
She was born Feb. 11, 1914, in Lee County, the daughter of Charles and Nellie Roe Greer. She married Carl B. Clark in Keosauqua Dec. 23, 1932. He preceded her in death in 1981.
She is survived by four sons, Bernard of Bonaparte, Carl E. of Festus, Mo., Jerry of LaGrange, Mo., and Tom of Brighton, Colo.; one daughter, Juanita Renteria of Burlington; four sisters; several nieces and nephews; 18 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one daughter and great-grandson.
Mrs. Clark was a Methodist and had retired from the Fairfield Glove Factory in Bonaparte.
The service will be at 3 p.m. Monday at the Community Church in Bonaparte with the Rev. James Rozendaal of Farmington officiating. Burial will be in the Bonaparte Cemetery.
Arrangements are being made by the Beatty-Haas Funeral Home in Burlington where visitors may call from 1:30-8:30 p.m. Sunday. The body will be at the Community Church in Bonaparte 1-3 p.m. Monday preceding the service.
Memorials may be made to the First Alarmers of Van Buren County.
