Nina Talbert

Mrs. J. Raymond (Nina) Talbert, 92, Rolling Hills Estate, Branson, Mo., formerly of Mt. Pleasant, died Sunday, Jan. 10, 1988, at Branson.

She was born Nov. 4, 1896, at Hillsboro, the daughter of Pearl and Millie L. Young Chrissinger. On Jan. 25, 1921, at Mt. Pleasant, she married James Raymond Talbert who died Jan. 4, 1973.

Mrs. Talbert had helped her husband farm before moving to Branson, Mo., in 1973. She was a member of the Pleasant Hill Church south of Mt. Pleasant.

Surviving are one son, L.E. Talbert, Branson, Mo.; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; one brother, Willis I., Farmington; and one sister, Helen Bolton, Creston.

Her parents, one brother, Earnest, and one sister, Annabelle Herron, also preceded her in death.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 14, at the Weir Funeral Home. Interment will be in the Burge Cemetery, New London.

Visitation will begin at 4 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 13, at the funeral home where the family will receive friends from 10 a.m. to noon Thursday.
