Theona Bertha Bartholomew Wary, 73 daughter of Henry and Elva Cox Bartholomew died March 19, 1978 at a Council Bluffs Hospital following a short illness. She was born March 6, 1905 in Van Buren County, Iowa.

She lived in Van Buren County until her marriage to Clark R. Wray who died in 1967. Since her marriage she has resided in Council Bluffs. She was a member of the Fifth Avenue United Methodist Church in Council Bluffs.

Survivors include four daughters, Lois Caughey and Anne Shipley, both of Council Bluffs, Lorrainne DenHerder of Logan and Gloria Dahlquist of Omaha; four sons, James of Broomfield, Colo., Basil of Ft. Collins, Colo., Donald of West Memphis, Ark., and Phillip of Farmers Branch, Texas; seven sisters, Veda Myers of Perry, Catherine Whitney of Birmingham, Bessie Roberts of Winfield, Sophia Roberts of Crawfordsville, Norma White of Des Moines, Jessie Wiley of Keosauqua, Mary Wiley of Stockport and a brother Thomas of Birmingham.
