Glen B. Miller

Glen B. Miller, 89, Keosauqua, died at 1:25 p.m. Monday, Oct. 12, 1987, at Van Buren County Memorial Hospital.

He was born Aug. 27, 1898, in Lee County, the son of Bruce and Daisy Brownlee Miller. He married Florence Stonehouse on Feb. 24, 1940, at Ft. Madison.

He had spent his life farming in Van Buren County, north of Bonaparte until retiring to Keosauqua. He was a 50-year member of Belmont Lodge No. 541, A.F.&A.M. at Hillsboro.

Surviving are his wife; three brothers, Ellis, Mt. Pleasant; Kenneth, Hillsboro; and Donald, Audubon.

One brother, Rex, preceded him in death.

Services will be Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. at the Keosauqua Christian Church. The Rev. Bob Patterson will officiate with interment and Masonic rites at the Hillsboro Cemetery.

Friends may call as they desire at the Pedrick Funeral Home, Keosauqua. Memorials have been established for the Keosauqua Christian Church or the Hillsboro Cemetery.
