Annabelle Jester

Annabelle Jester, 66, Fairfield died Monday, Oct. 5 at the Nelson Nursig Home in Fairfield.

She was born July 26, 1921 in Cavalien, North Dakota, the daughter of O.C. and Gertrude Kellogg Wright.

She married Bert V. Jester April 27, 1946 in Kahoka, Mo.

She had lived in Fairfield the past 21 years with her previous residence in Keosauqua.

She was a member of the VFW Auxiliary and Eagles Auxiliary.

She is survived by her husband, three sons and three daughters, Bert and Mike, both of Fairfiel, Jim of Kilbourn, Bonnie Scotton, and Marlene Buford of Fairfield, Deborah Proctor, Batavia, 11 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild, one brother, Gene Wright, Birmingham, two sisters, Maxine Adams, Fairfield and Pauline Wallace, Ottumwa.

Funeral services will be held Friday, Oct. 9, 1987 at 11 a.m. at Behner Funeral Home, Fairfield.

Burial will be in the Kilbourn Cemetery.

Visitation will be 7 to 8 p.m. Thursday evening at Behner Funeral Home.

Memorials can be made to the VFW and Eagles Auxiliaries.
