James R. Millen

James R. "Randy" Millen, 42, of Burlington, died at 11 p.m. Thursday, February 5, 1987 at Iowa Methodist Hospital, Des Moines.

Born July 31, 1944, in Keokuk, he was the son of Floyd and Betty Millen.

He was a graduate of the University of Iowa and Florida State University Law School. He practiced law and was a member of the Iowa and Florida Bar Association. He was also a member of Ducks Unlimited, Alpha Tau Omega Fraternity and was a past member of the Des Moines County Conservation Commission.

Surviving are two sons, Jeremy Millen, Burlington, and Jeff Millen, Breckenridge, Colorado; two brothers, Robert Millen, Des Moines, and David Millen, Davenport; his parents, Des Moines; and his grandmother, Pearle Millen, Farmington.

Private graveside committal services for Mr. Millen were held Saturday, February 7, 1987 in Green Glade Cemetery, Farmington. Prugh's Funeral Chapel was in charge of arrangements.

Memorials have been established for the American Cancer Society and Ducks Unlimited.
