James E. Stanton

James E. Stanton, 58, of Farmington, died February 7, 1987 at Veterans Hospital in Omaha, Nebraska.

Born at College Springs, Iowa on October 27, 1928 to Warren E. and Winona Clark Stanton, he lived most of his life in Council Bluffs. His parents preceded him in death.

Surviving are his four children, James R. of Pocatello, Idaho, Steve of Omaha, Nebraska, Kenneth of Bristow, California and Connie of Las Vegas, Nevada; two brothers, Warren C. of Farmington and Walter G. of Glenwood, Iowa and two sisters, Betty Jo Weeda of Elmhurst, Illinois and Dorothy Pond of Nodaway, Iowa.

The funeral was held Tuesday, February 10, 1987 at Walker-Merrick Funeral Home, Clarinda, with burial at Maple Hill Cemetery, College Springs.
