Donald G. Dearinger

Donald G. Dearinger, son of Keith and Fayreh Longworth Dearinger, was born November 22, 1926 at Bentonsport and departed this life the evening of Wednesday, February 18, 1987 at Veterans Administration Medical Center, Iowa City, at the age of 60.

He was a long-distance truck driver and served his country during the Korean War.

He married Burley DeVore Johnston, August 22, 1981 near Cantril.

Surviving are his wife; two sons, Keith and Donald, Jr., both of Chicago, Illinois; four daughters, Nancy, Donna and Amy Dearinger, all of Chicago, and Cathy Dearinger-Stimes, Tucson, Arizona; two stepsons, Robert Bohannon, Cantril and Alan Johnston, Houston, Texas; a stepdaughter, Glennis Bohannon, Kewanee, Illinois; three grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; two sisters, Kate Mackey, Burlington and Helen Gwin LeBeau, Owenton, Kentucky.

Funeral services were held Saturday, February 21, 1987 at 2 p.m. at Pedrick Funeral Home, Keosauqua, with Rev. Gerald Caughron officiating. Interment was in Aspen Grove Cemetery, Burlington. A memorial has been established.
