Pauline Dickey

Pauline Dickey, 85, of Keosauqua, died at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 24, at Van Buren County Memorial Hospital, Keosauqua.

She was born July 17, 1901, north of Ottumwa, to Albert and Polly Ann Thompson Rickett.

She married Herbert A. Dickey; they lived in Oskaloosa, Hedrick and Cantril. After he died in 1959, she moved to Keosauqua.

She worked as a ward attendant at the Mental Health Institute, Mount Pleasant.

Surviving are four sons, Herschel and Zane, both of Keosauqua; Matthew Wendell, Fort Madison; and Royal Blaine, Donnellson; and eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Friends may call at their convenience.

Services for Mrs. Dickey will be 10:30 a.m. Friday at Pedrick Funeral Home, Keo-sauqua(err), with the Rev. Bob Patterson officiating. Burial in Fellows Cemetery, Keosauqua.

Memorials to Van Buren County nursing service may be left at the funeral home.
