John F. Olsen, Jr.

John F. Olsen, Jr. died in Babylon, New York, on Feb. 28, 1987 after a long illness. He taught science for many years in the West Babylon Schools.

Mr. Olsen was born in Brooklyn, New York on Sept. 13, 1924. He served in the Marine Corps during World War II and was a graduate of Parsons College with the class of 1951. He married (Charlotte) Topping on Oct. 27, 1950 in Fairfield. She survives him. He is also survived by two daughters and two sons, John F. Olsen III, Mark Olsen, Laura Smith and Kristen Kelly. Four grandchildren also survive.

Local relatives are his wife's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Clem Topping of Stockport and a sister-in-law, Dorothy Bell, of Fairfield.
