Elda E. Schweer

Elda E. Schweer, 86, of Donnellson, died at 11 p.m. Saturday, March 21, at the Keokuk Area Hospital.

Born Sept. 8, 1900, at rural Donnellson, she was the daughter of William C. and Emma E. Anton Lange. She married Paul J. Schweer May 26, 1926, at Fort Madison.

she had spent her entire life in or near Donnellson. She was a member of the St. Paul's United Church of Christ, Donnellson, Friendship Circle of the church and War Dads of Donnellson.

Surviving are one son, Leland Schweer, West Des Moines; two brothers, Lester Lange, Farmington, and Raymond Lange, Donnellson; and two grand-daughters.

Services for Mrs. Schweer will be 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the St. Paul's United Church of Christ, Donnellson, with the Rev. J. Winifred Stoerker officiating. Burial will be in the Evangelical Cemetery, Donnellson.

A memorial has been established for the St. Paul United Church of Christ. Contributions may be left at the Hofbauer Funeral Home, Donnellson.
