Kenneth E. BissonnetteMargaret T. Bissonnette, 73, and Kenneth E. Bissonnette, 78, both of Carthage, died Sunday.
Mrs. Bissonnette died at 2:07 p.m. in Memorial Hospital at Carthage and Mr. Bissonnette died at 10:20 p.m. that evening at Passavant Hospital in Jacksonville.
Mrs. Bissonnette was born Sept. 23, 1913 in Aledo, a daughter of Harry and Bessie Mae Ketcham Balmer. She first married Fred Wall who preceded her in death. She then married Kenneth Bissonnette.
She is survived by two sons, John D. Wall of Iowa City, Iowa and Fred D. Wall of Galesburg; a step-daughter, Mrs. Patrick (Carmen) Hamill of Kent, Wash.; two half brothers, Glen Balmer of Yuma, Ariz., and Lloyd of Keosauqua; a half-sister, Mrs. Charles (Helen) Anderson of Cantril; 13 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, four step-grandchildren, four step-grandchildren and four step-great-grandchildren.
Mr. Bissonette was born May 21, 1908 in Erhard, Minn., a son of Louis and Minnie Straider Bissonnette.
He is survived by his daughter, two step-sons; two sisters Mrs. Bea Minzghor of Hayes City, Fla., and Mrs. Lester (June) Jacobs of Florida; 13 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Thursday in the Lamporte Funeral Home in Charge with Rev. James Fox officiating.
Burial will be in Forest Lawn Gardens at Macomb.
Visitation is from 6-9 p.m. tonight. There will be no family visitation.
Memorials may be made to the Hancock County Ambulance Service.
