Clifton Roese

Clifton Roese, 85, Farmington, died at 10 a.m. Sunday, April 12, 1987 at Keokuk Area Hospital.

Mr. Roese was born March 4, 1901, at Lansing, Iowa. A retired farmer, he moved to Farmington from Conesville, Iowa in 1983. He was a member of St. Boniface Catholic Church of Farmington.

On Septembr 28, 1932, at Argyle, he married Eloise Moodie, who survives.

Also surviving is a sister, Mrs. Irma Koontz, Great Galls, Montana.

He was preceded in death by three sisters. His parents were Bernard and Gena Asleson Roese.

Funeral services were at 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Mary's Catholic Church of String Prairie. The Rev. Greg Steckel officiated. Burial was in St. Mary's Cemetery.

Hofbauer Funeral Home, Donnellson was in charge of arrangements.
