Viola M. Ellerhoff

Services for Mrs. Viola M. Ellerhoff, 87, Route 3, who died Wednesday, April 8, will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Lunning Chapel with the Rev. Donald Zimmerman officiating. Burial will be in St. John Cemetery. A memorial has been established.

Born in Des Moines County May 30, 1899, she was the daughter of Henry and Minnie Reif Schmidt. She married George Ellerhoff June 24, 1925, in Des Moines County. He died April 6, 1953.

Mrs. Ellerhoff was a retired mail-carrier. She was a Protestant and a member of the Garden Club.

Surviving are a son, Larry Ellerhoff, Taylor Ridge, Ill.; a daughter, Sally Burhans, Route 3; and three brothers, Walter Schmidt, Birmingham, Roy Schmidt, Sperry, and Everett Schmidt, Route 3.
