Thelma M. Black

Thelma M. Black, daughter of John and Mary Cramer, was born March 19, 1906 at Charles City, Iowa and departed this life the morning of Tuesday, June 16, 1987 at Phelps, Kentucky.

She grew up in Charles City. She married Ross Black of Milton, lived most of her life in Ban Buren County, and had lived the past few years in Freeburn, Kentucky.

Mr. Black died in 1973. Two sisters also preceded her in death.

Surviving are three sons, Raymond Frisco, North Carolina, James, Birmingham, Iowa and Ronald, Freeburn, Kentucky; three daughters, Marjorie McClellan, Norwood, Missouri, Mary Adams, Mt. Vernon, Missouri and Dorothy Cliff, Carson City, Nevada; 14 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

Graveside services were held Sunday, June 21, 1987 at 2:30 p.m. in Sunnyside Cemetery, Milton, with Rev. Andrew Rubenking officiating. Pedrick Funeral Home, Keosauqua, was in charge of arrangements. A memorial was established.
